Overview
This Committee is responsible for the review of the municipal budget as prepared by the Town Manager and Finance Director. Committee members study the budget and meet with the individual department heads (or representatives) to examine the budget line by line. The Committee makes recommendations to the Board of Selectmen. Once the budget has gone through Selectmen review the Budget Committee will attend the Reconciliation Meeting. At that meeting the Committee’s final recommendation on the Town Meeting Financial Warrant Articles will be recorded.
